Well, P. Butt and Jelly are back and healthy, P. Butt needs antibiotics for five days, and the vet's like 'yeah, keep them isolated'. Cause that's real plausible, we can put them where there aren't any cats LIKE ON THE ROOF, wtf, no, screw you. They're in their cage, and so long as they're not running around with the others, it'll be fine, we're letting them run around after the antibiotics.

We delivered Baby to her new home, she got adopted and she was cute and purring, we also adopted out Serena, a cat at PetCo, and we were supposed to get another cat into PetCo. We take the carrier from the fosters, and they go "Oh, by the way, his eye is a little drippy." SO. Cut to another cat with an eye problem in our house. *points to 'cats are better than people' cats* At least Petey and Pooh are better. But yeah, that's the +1.

The -1 is . . . Carrot. He wasn't really eating well last night and neither my mom nor I really picked up on it. He was 92.1 degrees, and cats are normally around 101 or 102, so it was TERRIBLY low. I could go into a lot more details but we wound up euthanizing him today. I broke down at home, I just- I had a mini-fit and I was crying and I couldn't take it. And it did NOT help that like the entire time my mom kept saying stuff like 'at least we saved two' and 'so, what you're not going to volunteer like this ever again?' Just didn't help. And there's a lot on our plate lately, anyway.

Seriously, I can't even take killing a bug. I cup it in my hands and put it outside somehow. There was a mouse in the basement the other week, and I wanted to capture it in something, but my mom told me to bring my cat down. He did and I was pissed and crying. Again. Can't even kill a bug. So that was a huge emotional strain.

And MID-writing this entry, we were about to feed the two that were left, and then Little Pudge started acting lethargic, and not crying. We heard this kitten from downstairs when we were asleep. He was sort of just- laying there. Again, not going into details, but we took him and Butternut (precautionary) to the vet and thank god that this one's temp wasn't as bad. On antibiotics now and some different ways of washing them. We're hoping that they both pull through.

Debating full-hiatusing at Poly, I've been slow anyway with everything going on. But I totally need it because it picks me up, anyway. Seriously debating if I should taking Hiyori from the City for a while, though. She's just kinda . . . sitting there doing nothing. But then again, I don't know that it's a smart move, cause after I re-watch canon a bunch of times and get a nice firm grip on her again I'm gonna wanna take her out. Not to re-set her, mind, but just as a break. IDK. Thoughts? Ugh, I need to finish up my app, too. I also kinda wanna finish up the stuff I have in-progress from the kink meme . . . Anyone still look at that thing?

Isn't it funny how I haven't updated my LJ in for-freaking-ever? Yeah? Yeah. Hilarious.

And guys, GUYYYYS. Two of the downstairs ringwormy kittens were purring since like before I came home. And Monopoly recently started. And then I've been trying to get Scrabble (we give them themed names, stfu) to purr or at least freaking relax for a while. She'd been relaxing after holding her for about a minute and a half, but she'd always run away and possibly hiss (not that it made a difference to me, I knew it wasn't an agressive hiss, just a 'djkfhskadjf I don't want you to touch me' hiss) when I'd try and take her out.

So. The other night. I was chilling with her and petting her, and I leaned in, and I heard, like, the most nearly inaudible purr ever. It was so soft, it was like, beyond pianissimo. Or quadruple piano. Ridiculous soft. Barely there, and I almost missed it, but I'm pretty sure it was a purr. Yesterday I go down, get her out of the cage, intent for her to do quiet little purrs, and in half a minute, she's doing pretty loud purring, and I start- well, look, I have this silent laugh and when I laugh silently, I shake. It's essentially like vibrating, though.- so I was vibrating, just going 'she's purring, she's purring, she's purring' and it was actually a cross between sobbing from happiness and incredulity, and laughing.

lulz, this is my fourth entry posted today

So, so, so.

I was in a chat with Chi and Lucy. And I linked them to a snuggie commercial because it was appropriate to the conversation. About a minute later, that very commercial came on the television.

Weird, but okay. A couple of minutes later, the conversation veered towards a stuffed animal, and as I was replying, there was a commercial that started out with a person with a teddy bear head. (decongestant; his head was stuffed.) WEIRD.

My dad mentioned "A pig that special you don't eat all at once", and then Caru and Mici referenced it a few hours later. And I haven't even thought of that joke in, like, months, maybe even a year.

Hiyori and Shiki and Fai were discussing muffins, and then Alton Brown was doing a muffin episode. I'd never even seen it and it was awesome and he's a dork, but WHAT. And then, today, during the lol let's make Hiyori a cow, he's got that bit with the two guys in the cow suit, labeled with what parts are which cut of meat.

Well, I already knew I would love Psyche, cause Merriwether is awesome, and my friend is a TA, and there's like, 5 friends I have in there. XD

My other class I hate. It's HDEV 200, and it's pretty much HDEV 300, at Wednesday from 5:50-8:50, in a building NOT ON CAMPUS and I have to bus to get there.

BLARGH STOP BEING ANNOYING. But what can I do? I'll deal.

I played Apples to Apples on Friday night. Cause I'ma Jew. XD IT got pretty weird and funny. I'll see if I can remember some of the quotes.

01:37 pm: Back in college
So, what's been going on in the five thousand years that I haven't posted, you ask?

Well, I got fired from Beth Shalom. Pfft. Apparently I got 'too many phone calls from the parents', which is nonsense. And especially because the girl that took over for me is friendly with the camp director, but she applied too late, so I think they were really looking for someone to fire. Wait until she majorly messes up, so, about two days after she took over. Ha! The kids were awful.

So yeah, back in college, and from my first class; Hebrew. I'm excited and nervous about it. 'Cause I know the aleph-bet (alphabet), and how to read and write, but I'm nervous about vocab and sentence formation. At least we get off on yontif; that rules. Oh, and one of my friends is TAing unexpectedly. :3 So that's cool

I'll tell about my other classes after I have them, but I'm not worried at all about Psyche. I know the teacher (same as last semester, and she's the best ever) And onna my friends is TAing. Yeh, a different one.

I got back from college, I got Cs in two of my courses and passed the third one. Not so happy with that, but . . .

I took a summer math course, and I got an A! >D YE-AH!

So yeah, done with that, and on Friday I start camp. I have a bus route, and I'm a group leader of fourth graders. YEAH! NOT KINDERGARTENERS! >D

I feel like I had more goin' on, but . . . I think that was reflected excitement in my life from the updates of the Abridged series and RPs. Woo. Oh! Speaking of which.
